# American Heroes Equine Connection

American Heroes Equine Connection (AHEC) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit that pairs
U.S. military veterans, first responders, and Gold Star families with rescue
horses for equine-assisted healing therapy. Programs are free for the people
we serve — made possible by monthly donors, sponsors, and volunteers.
